There goes the idea of writing this in 3rd person...it's been 5 weeks, things aren't so fresh :)
If you haven't already guessed, the blogger is me, just plain and simple Jenny. Except that (if you know me well then you'll agree), I'm anything but simple.
I like to think that I'm a simple, straightforward character trapped inside a complex, confusing person's body. I sometimes wonder whether the majority of people in this great world, or at least in my friendship circle, prefer someone to be a matter-of-fact type person who doesn't mess around, can easily be read and interpreted, with no language barrier or metaphorical pages stuck together...or do they prefer people to have mystery and be polygon-like, with as many different sides readily available for people to explore and be fascinated by.
If people are too simple, the whole process of getting to know someone and find out their strengths, weaknesses, flaws and what makes them tick is over in a flash, and things can be rather boring. But at the same, being complicated is practically sentencing someone to take the time to meticulously work out each and every characterisitic of the other, and be treading on eggshells. So maybe it's best to have a balance; in other words, have simple traits but have not-so-simple ones too.
Or better yet...stop worrying and see what comes naturally. You never know, you may just surprise yourself.
