Changes...

Recent experiences gave our student good scope in order to publish her first entry in her collection of random ramblings, after finding out that ignorance really isn't her new best friend (as much as Paramore would have us believe).

After accompanying some of her friends from LGBT to a "pudding party" organised by the ULCU, she not only ate an infinite amount of sweet treats (and felt slightly sick in the process, but it was worth it), she experienced a slight epiphany when entranced in the words of the guest speaker, who was meant to be talking about the acceptance of homosexuality within the Christian community.

Everybody who "falls short" of perfection within God's eyes sins, apparently. Which got her thinking...how many wrongdoings and misdemeanours actually fall into that category, and is there really any necessary need to watch everything you do and categorise it into right and wrong? If that was the normal prerogative, there would be no room for anyone to move on and learn from things as they would be too busy being scared to mess up and find out.

After hearing this, she decided to stick to her agnostic beliefs (as she's still unsure whether there actually is a God, and needs more convincing than the "first book ever published" can give), but also decided that people can live their lives in this way as it's their decision, but she'll stick to her philosophy of making mistakes and living life day to day...without taking it to extremes of course! I speak on her behalf when I say, isn't that what being young is for?

And also when I say...so much for just going for the free puddings eh?
